Aren't all knives and blades the same?
The answer is no, so you wat to make sure that you choose the correct tool for the job. REMEMBER - ANY BLADE CAN CUT OR SCRATCH GLASS! It all depends on the glass, edge on the blade, and angle of the cut. If you use stainless steel blsdes exclusively, please note the Pt 093 and Pt 097 are the only knives loaded with stainless steel blades.
If you're installing thick security films, you need a wide blade knife like the Auto Lock 8-Point (Pt087) and the triple-honed, super-sharp blades like the Olfa UltraMax (Pt090). they cut through thick films like butter!
Remember the BLADEater to protect your customers and theyr property from unwanted and dangerous blade tips. No matter what knife or blade you use, be sure to use a SHARP blade everytime.
